Hay low in magnesium can cause grass tetany

I can personally vouch for the validity of this information as I have been experiencing it for quite a while now and didn't know it until recently.

Sounds like a good thing to look into as far as what you are feeding and how to properly supplement.

Yeah Trisha. I think it even goes further than that. I'm working on having my hay tested as I've since come across a few more articles by different sources that are stating almost the same exact info, only they are adding in more to what the 'whole picture is'. This has been such a crazy ride for us and our cows.

I'm not much for being able to concentrate on reading this kind of info...but when it is affecting the animals, I've found I can sure read it a lot easier!
